I really only have been able to compare closely to the I-phone and have continued frustration getting the I-phone to be any comparison at all. The speed ease and functionality is tops and ahead of other phones. I have used BlackBerry phones for years and have yet to find anything remotely comparable in other phones. I am a BlackBerry user and extremely disappointed that you have decided to drop support. As I wrote above, it´s just sad how you handle Windows Users. On the other side, enough time to move all data to another system.īy the way, 3 months of Evernote Premium without charging is not a "consolation", it´s a slap in the face of a paying customer.įinally, I know, I am just an Evernote Plus User and it´s not a big thing for you, that I will cancel my account according to the conditions. Well, 66,67% of the main reasons are gone now because Evernote decided to end. Wouldn´t it be fair to say the truth instead of such phrases? And of course you know, life cycles of phones are really short. And I´m sure you know, that it´s not useful, when you write "If you currently use Evernote on these platforms, you may continue to do so.", because you definitly know, that sometimes people get a new phone or need to reinstall or something. In the past you decided to end any useful touch interface (touch support does not exist since a longer time), now you decided to end Evernote on Windows Phone. The main reasons, why I decided to use Evernote, were:Ģ/ Really useful user interface on my tablet (touch) I followed some discussions for a while and got the final result: You really don´t like Windows Users. There's also a 2016 version still selling for $100 on Amazon, but it's too old.I was just shocked when I read this. They seem identical, but the price has jumped dramatically to $279. Note: I tried the $149 2018 version of the Smart Writing Set, which is no longer available. A pop-up let me know that 2.0 is still a work in progress and I might need to switch back to the older version if my device is having trouble, but my iPhone 11 didn't have any issues. An older version of the app is available for download, but the 2.0 version is more streamlined. The Moleskine Notes 2.0 app (available on iPhone and Android) was easy to use once I settled into it. Moleskine has garnered a devoted following for its classic notebooks and journals, but it has also moved into smart territory. The company has added new capabilities since and the price has come down, but it's still best for the simple task of jotting notes. There is no waterproofing, no page-turn buttons, and no backlight. When WIRED writer Louryn Strampe reviewed it in 2020, she noted that other features were lacking and that's still mostly the case. However, you may need a Connect subscription ($3 per month) to access syncing and unlimited cloud storage. You can integrate your notes into Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive. You also upload PDFs and ebooks to the slate via the company's app or website, and ReMarkable has a Chrome extension that lets you send any webpage to read on the tablet. There are many ways to organize your work into different notebooks or quick sheets, and you can sort them with tags and folders. The tablet is $299, but you'll need to pay for a pen, which is an additional $79, or $129 if you want the one with an eraser on the other end.
